What are you trying to do?

Create your Warsha Emails account, confirm your email, and add your first mailbox to read your mail from it.

Steps

  1. Open emails.warshalabs.com and choose “Create account”. Type your name, your email and a password of at least ten characters twice, then accept the terms after reading the privacy and refund policies. The consent box is not ticked in advance: no account is created unless you tick it yourself.

  2. Confirm your email. You receive a message with a link and a code. Open the link or type the code on the “Check your e-mail” page. You cannot sign in before confirming.

  3. Sign in. Your workspace starts on the free plan, which is permanent.

  4. Add your mailbox. From “Mailboxes” choose to add one, type the email address, then “Continue”. Warsha Emails finds your mail settings automatically and checks them.

  5. Type the mailbox password. If your provider asks for an “app password” instead of your normal password — as Gmail and Yahoo do — you see a line saying so, with a “How do I get one?” link. Then “Test and add”.

  6. Wait for the test. Receiving and sending are both tested before anything is stored. When the test passes the mailbox is added, and its password is stored encrypted.

What can go wrong

“We could not find this mailbox’s settings automatically.” Enter the server settings as your provider gives them on its help page or in its welcome email: the receiving server (IMAP) and its port, and the sending server (SMTP) and its port. If your AI assistant is connected, you can ask it to add the mailbox.

“Unknown server”. Nobody has used this server with Warsha Emails before. Make sure it really is your provider’s mail server, then choose “Yes, add it”.

“Wrong email or password”. Most often your provider requires an app password. See “Mail provider connection failures”.

Outlook and Microsoft 365 mailboxes. Microsoft accepts no password here: choose “Sign in with Microsoft”, sign in with your account at Microsoft and give Warsha permission to read and send mail — we never see your password. You come back to Warsha after signing in, and we test the mailbox before saving it. Company accounts may need their organisation’s administrator to approve the app first.

Something you won’t expect

The mailbox you add is not copied to our servers: messages are read live from your provider when you open them, and your mail stays with its provider as it is. You can therefore open it in any other mail app at the same time without any conflict with Warsha Emails.
