Website privacy policy

What this website does not do

Today this website carries no tracking pixels, no Google Analytics or anything like it, no social buttons loaded from their own servers, and no fonts from an external CDN.

You can verify this yourself at any time — open your browser’s developer tools, the Network tab, reload the page, and see where the requests go.

What is stored in your browser

Three keys and no more: “wl-theme” for your theme choice, “wl-intro-seen” to record that you have seen the opening sequence (cleared when the tab closes), and “wl-contact-sent” for the time of your last message from the contact form, to prevent repeated sending.

All of them stay on your device and are never sent to us. Clearing them from your browser settings breaks nothing — the page simply returns to its initial state.

They are not cookies: they are never sent with any request to the server, unlike cookies, which are sent automatically.

The contact form

When you send from the Contact page, what reaches us is: the request type, your email address, the text of your message, and the language of the page you wrote from. And, if you filled them in — both optional — the program version and your operating system.

It goes to the support mailbox and is used for nothing but replying to you. Your address is not added to any mailing list, and we send you no marketing.

Account and purchase

When you create an account we store your email address and your licence records, nothing else.

Payment is taken through a registered payment provider — Paddle, Sadad or PayPal, depending on your country and how you buy — and from inside our apps on the Apple and Google stores where those exist. Your card details are handled entirely by the provider: they never pass through our servers, we never see them, we never store them, and there is no card field on any page of ours.

All that reaches us from the provider is the subscription record and the invoice — no card number, nor any part of one.

Server logs

The hosting provider keeps standard technical logs for each request: IP address, browser type, and the time of the request. These are necessary to run the site and protect it from abuse.

We do not link those logs to your identity, build a profile from them, or use them to track you across visits.

What we never collect

Your location, your contacts, your files, and any content from inside our tools. What each tool touches is written in that tool’s own policy.

Your responsibility for your data

You decide what you put into our tools and what you connect to them, and you are responsible for your authority to do so: not connecting an account or mailbox you do not own, and not processing other people’s data in breach of the law or of your agreement with them.

We protect what reaches us as best we can, and no system is absolutely secure. The limits of our liability are set out in the website terms of use.

Your rights

You may request a copy of what we hold about you, its correction, or its deletion. Write to support@warshalabs.com and we reply within 48 hours.

What is stored in your browser you can clear yourself from your browser settings, without needing us at all.

Changes to this policy

When we change something we raise the version number and date at the top of this page. We do not retroactively change the basis on which data was collected under an earlier version.

And if we ever add something loaded from another domain — advertising, analytics or anything else — we will write it on this page and raise its version before it goes live, not after.

Per-tool privacy

Each tool has its own privacy policy, because what each one touches is entirely different: a program that runs on your machine is not the same as a service that reads your mail. Read the policy of the tool you actually use — it takes precedence over this page in everything concerning that tool.
